More Colourful Crochet Stripy Cats for the Cat Gallery

I so love making these gorgeous cats, this little chap was for my sister-in-law who loves cats. I chose colours from C’s favourite colour palette of blues and greens. I don’t know what she has called him yet but I know I can be assured he has gone to a loving home.

Blue Cat 2And here is Thomas.

Colourful Crochet Stripy CatI was so flattered when my colleague at work asked me to crochet a Stripy Cat for her friend who had just found out that she was expecting. It was great as I got to choose the colours, I went a bit mad and just used all my favourites so there was no particular plan at the start. I really like how he turned out though and thankfully so did my colleague.

Before Thomas left for his new home he did have a bit of a frolic with my Henry.

Adorable! I have bought the book with the stripey cat pattern, because I love your profile picture. Now I am pondering about which yarn to choose. Do you use Rowan glacé? Thank you.

So happy to have inspired you, I actually used Rico Essentials Soft Merino but I am sure the Rowan yarn will be great. I look forward to seeing your stripy cat when he is finished.

Just love your stripey cat and yours have inspired me to make one. Thank you. 😊 Please could you share the shades of yarn that you used for your profile pic? Best wishes from Kent.

Thank you, I don’t know what it is about stripes but I love them, I am making a stripy mouse at the moment hoping to post about him soon.

Love these! I’ve only started making stuffed animals in the past few years, I let them intimidate me much more than they needed. They’re too much fun, and quicker projects than I ever thought.

Thanks for the like on my first post, I’m just getting started here and yours was a great blog to come across. I’m sure I’ll be linking you every once in a while, you’ve got some talent 🙂

Thanks, I’ll definitely have a link to Etsy as soon as I get a shop set up – that’s where I’ll be posting most of my work.

I’ve kinda gotten caught up in figuring out how to lay out my page just the way I want, but I’ve started filming and I’ll wrap up my first tut as soon as I have the house to myself again. I can’t talk on camera knowing there’s anyone around :\

They are one of my favourite patterns as you can probably tell by my gravatar image. it’s funny how they seem to show you their name as you are putting them together, unless it’s just me that’s daft about these things!

These are so adorable! You’re very good at crocheting. I’m such a beginner and have a long way to go. I’ll be following your blog for more inspiration to keep at it!

Thank you so much for the kind words, I am sure you will enjoy your journey. You are obviously quite adept with a pair of knitting needles, love the aran sweater you posted about. Is it finished?
