The Next Yarn Bombing Contribution from Italy

Next arrival was from a lovely friend in Italy, you can see more of her lovely creations at Tatie’sWorld.

Tajana Yarn Bombing 1There is a whole array of flowers, beautiful mandalas, bejewelled hearts and a pretty floral garland.

And then the cutest little creatures.

Tajana Yarn Bombing 2The little mouse is so cute in his checked apron, you can’t quite see it in this shot but he is posed with carrot in hand ready to prepare some gastric delight. The pattern for him is available from TheGreenDragonfly .There are 2 of the little owls which are fab, they will be added to my little nest of owls that I have been working on, I will show you those soon I promise.

Saving the best till last, look what I got too……

BroochFromTajana2

My lovely friend shares her post for this pattern here the pattern for the flower is shared by TheRoyalSisters but it has been cleverly tranformed into a brooch. Such a lovely gift, thank you so much. I will treasure it always and wear it to Yarndale this year so a little part of you can be there too.

Wow, thank you so much for thinking of thegrangerange for this award, I would love to accept but would it be ok if takes me a while to get round to launching it? With all the yarn bombing stuff going on I can hardly keep up with it everything at the moment.

Wanted to let you know that your parcel arrived late last week, sorry to be slow to let you know but I had to work all weekend so am catching up this evening. The little bunny is so cute and colourful and the little flowers are so pretty. I took some pics today so will get on with the text and post about him this week. We really appreciate you kind contribution, it is so good of you to send little bunny all that way, he is certainly the most travelled bunny that I know! Thanks again.

I love the granny square bunny as well 🙂
I just did a cute octopus last night – might send one of those in for the sea as well ;-))

The bunny is cute isn’t he. Wow, an octopus that sounds great. My friend who is making stuff has made a jellyfish. It’s on facebook and I am not too familiar with how it works but I hope this link works so you can take a peek at it, an octopus friend for him would be fab. https://www.facebook.com/grange.range.37
You may need to scroll down a bit, if you can’t see it I will ask my friend to send me the photo.

Mr Squid is so cute, who would have thought that creatures of the sea would be admired so. I hope you have found Mr Jellyfish, I tried to add the photo to my comment.

So, last night I tried the fish I told you about a couple of weeks ago. Both the fish and squid are cute, but quite small. Is that a problem for the yarnbombing? Would be ideal for me to send over (lower postage costs…), but it would be a pitty if you can’t use it.

Please don’t worry about size, small and large alike are equally welcome and will have a special home in our project. You should see the difference in the sizes of some of the flowers! I have made a couple of jellyfish too and they are totally dwarfed by the one my friend has made.

You are so right, I cannot believe how generous everyone is, a few of us locally who are making had a get together at the surgery after work and I took all the contributions in to show them, they were amazed too and very appreciative.
