I was asked by a friend if I would make her a cat, and I have! He is very dinky compared to anything I have done before measuring approx 5 inches from head to tail.
I went online in search of a suitable pattern and chose one from son’s popkes called Dandylion . If you have a look at the pattern you will see that I have altered it a bit so he is curled up rather than stretched out, also I have stitched his arms into this curled up position. I am rather pleased with the end result although I did set myself a bit of a task in trying to do it on a smaller hook than the yarn requires to get a nice tight finish.
Lol. Oh very cute. Looks very rakish with his mask – a veritable dandy 😉

Thank you, its funny how a piece of work can take on a character of his own, he looked like a male to me as I was putting him together.

Y’all know me, I put more pictures of my kitties in my blogs than my actual crafts! I absolutely adore this little crochet kitty and just had to share.
Enjoy! :3

It is always a pleasure to share links, he is cute in the pattern and I like the fluffy wool she has used, I was going for a tabby look though so I used my regular Stylecraft DK.

Many thanks for your kind comments. I am so pleased you like his face, it took me about 5 goes to get his mouth and nose to a point where I was happy with him.
