Update on Blanket CAL

Well here it is at the end of week 4.

BlanketCAL week4

It is going really well I think, each week there is a new pattern stitch to learn supplemented  with some basic stitches. Week 2 was this little beauty. It tended to come out a bit tight so I took it back and re-did it using a size larger hook.

The following week we had the star stitch, I really enjoyed this one although I could have picked colours that photographed better! It does look better in real life honest.

Blanket Cal Star Stitch week2 Week 4 we had the bobble stitch which I was quite familiar with.

Thank you, to be honest they are not colours of choice but a mixture of yarns from my mum donated for charitable use so I am quite pleased with how it is going too.

I would definitely recommend it, I have really enjoyed crocheting along with fellow bloggers. It’s great to all the different colour ways chosen.

Lovely color choices. I have not participated in a CAL, but I want to once I’m done with my current projects.

I thoroughly recommend it, this is the first time I have done it and I am really enjoying working alongside others and seeing all the different versions.

Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement but most of all thank you for sharing, it must have taken quite a lot of your time to prepare everything for us. This is my first CAL and I will definitely do it again.

Now that looks like a project that would never get boring! The week 2 pattern is the same as the wooleater blanket I’ve been working on – turned out really nice…I think the star one looks perfectly nice in the picture too 🙂

Thank you, it is great fun, but then it is doing my favourite thing……..crochet! The catherine wheel pattern does look like your wooleater blanket, it looks really lovely and snuggly. I hope you resolve your colour issues.
